Awesome Tip: 4 Keys to Make Decisions Faster

Here’s the uncomfortable truth about perfection:

It’s often just insecurity in disguise.

So many people in business overthink decisions to make things “perfect” … but the truth is, they’re using it as an excuse to procrastinate because they’re not confident. Or they’re worried about other people’s judgement.

Or they’re overvaluing their own subjective opinions about “quality” instead of the market.

Speed is unbelievably important in 2019, especially in business.

  1. Something that has always worked for me.
What makes us happy and productive is doing things we care about. The things are different based on the experience and environment we grew up in. Most important thing one can do is to find out what are their deep values, beliefs, and passions. What is your WHY? Be self aware!

When you know your WHY, life becomes much simpler.

How to make fast personal or business decisions when you know your WHY?
You will be amazed how much noise will be removed from your life and how much time you will have to go deeper with the things that makes you happy.
When you know your WHY you can choose on the fly what to do and what to delegate.
Important things are the ones that support your why. The most important things are those that have the most links in the chain = have the biggest impact on the whole.

    • If it is important (helps you with your WHY) (DO IT YOURSELF):
o if it’s urgent (DO IT NOW)
o if it is not urgent (DECIDE WHEN TO DO IT)
    • if it is urgent and not important (DELEGATE TO SOMEONE)

For the things that are important ask yourself:
    1. How is it supporting the WHY?
    2. What’s the upside if event’s turn out well?
    3. What’s the downside, if events go very badly? What’s the worst that can happen?
    4. Can you live with the downside? Truly?
    5. Can it be repaired (in hours, few days?) if something goes wrong?
    6. Is it repeatable over and over in different situations to increase productivity?
    7. Is it there later? Can I come back later, and nothing has changed, to do it in the future?
