Ricky Carruth is a real estate agent, speaker, author and real estate coach. He started selling real estate at 20 years old in 2002, became a self-made millionaire by 23 and bankrupt by 25. During that time, he read over 100 books searching for the reason he lost it all. After realizing the problem he started building his business the right way by valuing relationships over transactions. Since then, he hit #1 for RE/MAX in Alabama twice selling over 100 properties a year since 2014. Ricky still sells full time and started real estate coaching agents for free in 2017. He mission is to share what he learned from his downfall in hopes to reduce the failure rate in the real estate industry.

  1. Thank you for this video. I remember you said pick up 200-1000 homes to call, how often do we call them back again? First time they might not give us their email address, so we might have to call again made connection and get the email too. Do we call whenever if there just list and just sold? Or we should just call back to them regularly in a fix time? Thank you so much Ricky.

  2. Want an easy gauge for whether or not you’ll be successful? If you just watched this video for any amount of time and DIDN’T take detailed notes, you’re really missing the boat. Ricky is taking what took him YEARS to perfect and condensing it into 88 minutes. This is ALL pure gold. I’m only at the 50 minute mark, and I have two full pages of font 11 notes.

Ricky, thank you so much. I understand real estate is a tough business, but you’re making it as easy as it can possibly be for us. Again, PURE GOLD!!!

  3. Thank you SO MUCH for this, Ricky!! You ROCK for sharing all that you do with us!! You are officially my coach! I can't believe the amount of content you give out for FREE!

  4. I'm thinking of creating 2 types of weekly emails… One for my renters and the other for my buyers. Should I do that or should I send the same type of email to both homeowners/buyers and renters?

  5. Ricky, best words you said – there is no excuse not to send something out this week…it doesn’t have to be perfect, you’ll make it better over time. Just get started…no excuses! Love it brother.

  6. Thanks so much Ricky, there is SO much value in this video! LOVE IT! I'm waiting for my email template from constant contact, can't wait to start sending emails. I will shoot you over my example once I have it ready! 🙂

  7. Do you create the email from scratch every week? Or can you save it and change bits and pieces weekly? Also, do you schedule the day and time for the email to be sent or do you physically press send email every Wednesday?

  8. I am trying the trial of constant contact and I love it so far. I asked for your template and the women said they can't actually give us it but can show us the template you started with. She said they get calls every day about it ha

  9. Hi Ricky! What would you say is better for a new agent w/ only a couple deals done in 6 months about being on a team? Advantages on my team is internet leads provided, lots of FB generated leads and leads from lenders, all paid for and provided for by team leader. These are internet leads, that are not usually willing to be contacted. I've had poor luck with them. Based on what I've learned from you, you aren't a fan of internet leads anyway. If I don't like internet leads, and that's the major benefit of being on a team, do you think it's a good idea to stay or to go solo and start doing things the way I want (the way you recommend)? Thank you for your advice!
