  1. I totally agree with you Mike, not only in Real Estate but in every industry people should give a try of the free resources and later decide to spend money on Consultants. In this way, the entrepreneur will understand his/her company and his/her target group even better.

  2. Great information Mike. You have to learn it on your own first before hiring someone. The same goes with using transaction coordinators. Learn the contracts first, then use TC's. I've literally asked other seasoned agents in the past for particular disclosures needed for a transaction and they were clueless as to what I was asking for.

  3. Love the fact that you aren't pushing your services. That's why you have so many followers and so many trust and like what you teach. There are actual people out there who take money from unsuspecting agents and promise them "hundreds of leads" and as soon as they get the agents' $1500 retainer, they are out in the "closed/secret" Facebook group bragging and high fiving each other in one breath and asking the group leader, "OK now I got a "sucker" sorry… I mean an agent, How do I get him/her leads!!!"

The lead gen industry is a joke and I think Facebook has taken or taking notice and starting to turn down any ad from a third party lead provider who in essence charges for selling the name and phone number of a client to the agent.

And to address your first sentence of this video. Yes, my wife and I can vouch for the fact that in more than a dozen occasions you have repeatedly said that it is better to do it yourself than to hire someone. If for no other reason than to at least learn this stuff before turning the reins over to an outside agency.

  4. While I agree, I feel like you can throw money at this and not get anywhere.

It’s like selling your own home, you can sell it for “free” or you hire a seasoned agent and sell it properly.

You have to have the right person who is handling your social advertising but if you find the right person they are worth their weight in gold.
